Fence staining and wood revival for Oklahoma homes — unhurried, careful, and built to stand the prairie sun.

A handshake for the street

Oklahoma light is honest. It shows every shortcut.

We don’t paint over tired wood. We wash it, listen to the grain, and put color back where the sun took it. The shop is new. The care is old-fashioned.

  • Don’t paint a thirsty fence with thick latex and hope.
  • Don’t blast old stain off with a pressure washer set to strip the barn.
  • Don’t stain an hour before a thunderstorm, or at noon in July.
  • Don’t skip the bottom rail — red dirt eats it first.

Natural Cedar

Natural Cedar

The Oklahoma classic. Warm reddish cedar, grain still loud.

The eight colors

On real cedar grain.

Tap a chip. The board above is that stain in the wood — not a filter over the photo. Darker colors darken the fiber and leave the light on the grain.

How a job goes

We would rather wait a day than rush a fence.

  1. 01

    Walk the wood

We visit, look at sun, shade, soil splash, and the grain itself. You get a clear plan — not a guess from a photo.

  2. 02

    Prep with care

Wash, brighten, sand the proud spots, and repair what will show. Stain only hides what you let it. We don't let it.

  3. 03

    Stain like it matters

Even coats, brushed into the grain, in a weather window that will actually cure. We would rather wait a day than rush a fence.

  4. 04

    Seal the season

UV protection built for prairie light, a walkthrough before we leave, and honest advice on when to see us again.

Quiet answers

Things neighbors usually ask.

How long does a stain job last in Oklahoma?

On a privacy fence with honest prep and a real UV finish, most homes look proud for three to five years. South-facing runs and decks wear faster — we will tell you which boards will ask for us first.

Do you stain in the heat of summer?

We stain when the wood is dry and the forecast is kind. Midday July sun can flash-dry a coat and leave lap marks. Early mornings and mild stretches do better work. We schedule for the wood, not for a calendar square.

What if my fence is already gray?

Gray is thirsty wood, not dead wood. Revival is what we named the shop for. We clean, restore color, and protect — unless the boards are rotten through, in which case we will say so and help you plan repairs first.

Do I need my neighbor’s permission to stain both sides of the fence?

In general, yes — the other face of the fence is usually theirs. Every situation is different. We will do the legwork and reach out to your neighbor for authorization if it’s needed, so you don’t have to.

Do I need to be home?

For the first visit, yes — we want to walk it with you. On work days, as long as we can reach the fence line, you can go about your day.

How do estimates work?

Request one here. We follow up to set a short visit, measure the run, look at condition, and send a written number. No surprise extras for “prep” we already saw.

What stain do you use?

An oil that soaks into the fiber instead of sitting on top like paint. The grain stays visible, and the finish moves with the wood instead of peeling off in sheets.
